About the Deadzone

The Dead Zone has become an institution and a popular place to shop since 1989. We orginally started in Lincoln, RI, and then moved in 1990 to Chatham, MA, located on the elbow of Cape Cod.

In the Fall of 2004, The Dead Zone relocated to a larger location in South Yarmouth, MA, just 5 minutes from Hyannis and centrally located on Cape Cod.

We specialize in Grateful Dead, reggae, and other cool hippie merchandise. In 2002 we added this web site in addition to the store. Our goal is to offer all of our store goods online for your shopping convenience.

We are in the process of restructuring the web site, so please check back regularly because we are adding new products as soon as we can.
