The Dead Zone has become an institution and a popular place to shop since 1989. We orginally started in Lincoln, RI, and then moved in 1990 to Chatham, MA, located on the elbow of Cape Cod. In the Fall of 2004, The Dead Zone relocated to a larger location in South Yarmouth, MA, just minutes away from Hyannis, Cape Cod.

We have configured our online store so that the price of shipping is now automatically incorporated into your final purchasing price when you give your credit card information.

Just before you give your credit card information, under “shipping method” you will be given an option of ground that will have the amount for your shipping total next to it in parenthesis. We have set up the most accurate system for calculating shipping price for the time being that we are able to, which so far has proved to be very accurate. However, we know that there will always be certain instances where the price may be a little higher or lower than in actuality.

In light of this, we do keep records for each of our online customers that bless us with their business and we will be keeping track of what each customer has paid for shipping. If you have paid substantially over on your shipping charges, your account with us will be credited. We hope to have more and more shipping methods and options available in the future for our online customers and are continuously working to better our online store.
